PAGSANJAN FALLS TOUR (Approx. 9Hrs)


For a 2-hour drive southeast of Manila passing through quaint provincial towns, ricefields and coconut plantations, you will reach one of the country’s prime attractions, the town of Pagsanjan. TOUR DESCRIPTION :
Corregidor, the island-fortress, is a 1-hour ferryboat ride. Located 26 miles of west of Manila, "The Rock," as it became known during World War, was the last Filipino-American bastion to fall to the Japanese in 1942. The tour includes visits to the island's many "silent guns" and historical landmarks. The stirring Light & Sound Show at the cavernous Malinta Tunnel which served as General Douglas McArthur's headquarters during the seige should not be missed as it recreates the feeling of being in the island at the peak of enemy attacks.

TOUR DESCRIPTION :
Experience rural life in the Philippine countryside as you visit Villa Escudero, a vast coconut plantation dating back to the Spanish colonial period. Featured is the "Escudero Private Museum" which boasts of an impressive collection of oriental pottery, religious icons consisting of silver altars, gilded corrozas, ivory headed santos and other family memorabilia. From the museum, visitors board a carabao (water buffalo) driven cart takes you to the nearby resort where a native gourmet lunch awaits amidst swaying coconut trees. Lunch is a wet affair with tables submerged in the waters cascading from sparkling Labasin Falls as background and cool clear water running around the feet.

MANILA CITY SIGHTSEEING TOURS

Tour Description :
City tour starts with a visit to historic Rizal park and heads on to the old walled city of Intramuros built during the Spanish colonial period. Take a step back in time as you experience old Manila within the walled city of Intramuros. This walking tour takes you first through Fort Santiago which served as headquarters of the military might of the Spanish, Americans and Japanese colonizers until its destruction in 1945. The tour then proceeds past the Manila Cathedral, a magnificent feat with its intricate stone carving, stained glass mosaics and rosette windows then to the San Agustin Church, the oldest structure in the Philippines which dates back to 1571 and is home to religious and historical artifacts as well as priceless artworks. Then walk across the street to the Casa Manila, a museum that recreates the lifestyle of the colonial period during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After lunch proceeds to the financial center of Makati, passing through the plush residential village of Forbes Park and route to the American Memorial Cemetery. Finally, we take you to the The SM Mall of Asia until 8pm, Mall of Asia is the largest shopping mall in the Philippines and one of the largest shopping malls in the world in terms of gross floor size, after the South Dongguan Mall (China), Golden Resources Mall (China), Central World Plaza (Thailand), Seacon Square (Thailand),and Runwal Arcade (India). In terms of gross leasable area, the mall ranked Third Biggest Shopping Center in the World, according to Forbes Magazine. It opened on May 21, 2006
