Banaue -Sagada Heritage Tour

4DAYS/3NIGHTS BANAUE -SAGADA HERITAGE PACKAGE
(Minimum 5 persons travelling together)
Itinerary /Program
Day 1. Manila/Banaue.
You will be picked up from your hotel for your departure for Banaue, 360 km from Manila. The driving time with stops is between 8 to 10 hours but a very interesting journey through the countryside.
First, travel north on the expressway to the town of Bagabag in Nueva Vizcaya, where you start your climb to Banaue, 1,300 m/4300 feet above sea level. Reach Banaue late in the afternoon. Check in to the Banaue Hotel. After dinner, watch Ifugao tribal dances performed by the young and old from nearby villages.
Day 2. Banaue.
After breakfast, board a local jeepney for a ride to Banga-an, a native village, accessible after a short walk from the main road. After spending sometime in the village, continue to a vantage point to view and admire the 2,000 year old rice terraces. If placed end to end, the Banaue rice terraces would reach half way around the globe.
Proceed to the town's public market to mingle with the local people, and view the vast array of native handicraft. Time permitting, visit another village before returning to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. B
Day 3. Banaue.
Start a full day tour to the hinterland town of Bontoc, where a museum built by the Belgian missionaries featuring interesting items of the Cordillera tribes will be visited. Continue on to the tranquil highland of Sagada to view the Igorot burial caves, and visit a weaving centre before returning to Banaue for dinner and overnight. B
Day 4. Banaue/Manila.
Breakfast at the hotel then prepare for your trip back to Manila. Return to Manila via the national highway, passing Luzon's Central Plain Arrive in the early evening. B
